Finally Cloning Human Ebryos: A manifestation of Modern Values

Apparently its unlikely these specific cells would be able to develop into fully developed humans. Are Embryos Human? The moment one of these embryos does grow up to be a baby, a scientific breakthrough will provide proof that could be used against the destruction of cloned embryos, so there are strong reasons (Political ones) not to pursue human cloning. ¿Would Clones be Human? - Scientifically, YES. ¿Do we have a right to Kill Humans? - Scientifically I don't know, morally, No.

Can we kill embryos because they are not Human Yet? - This is human problem. Not a scientific one. From a scientific point of view, embryos are the first phase of becoming human and there is no emotional empathy towards the embryo. You might as well be talking about a Monsanto corn seed. So, science will do what science does: Provide more power to us, puny humans. And Humans will do what humans do: Use all possible resources to prolong their individual lives, comfort and existential needs. From Hiroshima's nuclear wipe-out, (Talk about a slash and burn policy), to the energy that provides millions with need-to-survive goods, the way humans use science is impossibly subjective and inevitably influential in the rest of our species.

The sum of human evolution has led to institutionally claim universal values that say "Killing a human, is bad" - and in some cases, "Only killing an Innocent Human is bad". - But historically, killing humans on behalf of the greater good has been the method used by the dominating groups of human beings. You could say that their is a separation of true values and idealized ones, and that the true values are the ones behind historical facts. (History, on itself, is being corrupted, based on these values).

Certain cultural exceptions, like Buhdist based cultures, are now quickly being wiped out or absorbed by our own, global and post-modern western culture and its evident, naturally established values:

a- Values based on marketing
b- Free competition
c- Creativity
d- Science
e- Efficiency
f- Rights of property and communication
g- Governance

Under these values, my forecast is:

1. Humans will be cloned
2. Embryos will be destroyed
3. Millions of lives will be saved
4. Billions of embryos will not.
5. The moral debate will not be solved, but forgotten. (Like so many others through out the last 40K years).
