Why do we have faith? Why do some of us reject it?

I believe that the scientific process is valid, I also believe in God. This idea is not my own. How big is the gap between Intuintion and Reason?.

Love the universal intuitive, imposible to define. Andres Marroquin once said, "Love is redefined every time it happens".

Happiness happens when some one believes everything is and is going to be fine, for ever. Some people reach this realization in moments of spiritual extasi. Otherwise they accept the ying-yang feelings of their day to day activities.

¿Can some one feel happy otherwise? (Most smart atheists I know are either distracting themselves, entertaining themselves or searching for meaning. Some, live the life of saints, only the athiest's faith relies on a deeper sense of choice and principle).

Again with the questions:
Was Jesus right in saying "Love others = love yourself "?
Was Jesus right in asking us to believe and love God above all things?
¿Are scientific principles universally true?

Why do scientist's define their profession by claiming "truth" by trying to proving things? Is it Faith in their own mysterious heart about specific abstractions of reality? You know - they always find new questions, and better the comprehension of our own system. They love themselves enough to demand recognition of their work, they love others enough to do the same, stating the authors and scientists who influenced or made their own theories valid.

They follow their intuition to define that human variable in the scientific process. Even when doing the now famed "Randomized testing" to obtain "Counter-Intuitive" conclutions. The human variable in science comes from intuition. (Or something else :)
